Soil-structure dynamic interaction is one of exceptional problem in the seismic design of structure. In order to investigate the effects and characteristics of soil-structure dynamic interaction, two-dimensional finite element time history analysis for that is carried out. The general purpose finite element program ANSYS is used in the analysis. In this thesis, firstly, the theory development and research method is simply related and analyzed;Secondly, there are two difficult and key points. Installing artificial boundary and ANSYS application in this anlysis are made a special effort to investigate; Finally, on the basis of the preceding chapters, a living example is calculated and analysed. The Drucker-Prager model of the ANSYS program is chosen as the constitutive relation of soil. Through inputting EI-centro earthquake wave, tree kinds of artificial boundary is calculated and discussed, and viscous-spring boundary of soil is established in the later calculation; At the same time, many different conditions that affect soil-structure dynamic interaction are taken into account. Those conditions are such as: after considering soil-structure dynamic interaction, there are same characteristics in the dynamic analysis of structures;the effect of interaction is studied, and when the properties of soil mass is changed;as superstructure stiffness change, the effects are existed; The existence or non-existent and thickness change and location change of soft-soil layer are considered in the calculation;the different form of pierbasis is considered. Through the calculation, some laws of seismic response about interaction system will be benefit for practical project. The practical calculation of soil-structure dynamic interaction should be taken through making full use of the research achievements of available rigid foundation. The one of main research destination of this thesis is that a simple practical analytical means is looked for just considering the main factors such as properties of soil mass. It is beneficial that the universality is strengthened through using the general purpose finite element program ANSYS.
