Hydraulic technology has already become one of the main techonogy for its special virtue. The hydraulic pump is not only the dynamic component of the system,but also is the core of the whole hydraulic system.The performance of hydraulic pump could directly affect if the system can run the correctly.Therefore, the fault diagnosis of the pump becomes the crucial factor for the hydraulic system.This paper systemically analyses every fault diagnosis methods of the hydraulic pump and comes to that fuzzy fault diagnosis methods, based on fuzzy synthetical judgment diagnosis methods, It provides an available method to get more accuracy fault diagnosis result of the pump.This paper provides 4 specific models and the step of fuzzy synthetical judgment ,and diagnosis approach of this method is expatiated on.In order to validate fuzzy synthetical judgment diagnosis methods fault diagnosis method in the axial piston pump.this paper analyzes the common fault mechanism of axial piston pump, brings forward diagnosis domain, gives diagnosis model .At last, fuzzy synthetical judgment diagnosis methods is applied to PCY14-1DB type axial piston pump Experiment and inspection show that this method is pump is validated.
