The velocity tracking and the examination technology is one of the important links of movement control. In recent years with the maturing of the control theory research day by day, the velocity tracking and the examination technology also made the considerable progress. It has already become a tendency to develop a new velocity tracking system applying the mature classical control theory or the developing modern control theory. This system is economical and practical and superior performance. The system developed in the thesis has many advantages, such as reliable algorithm, high filter precision, fast response, strong self-adjustment and self-adaptive ability, economy practical and convenient carrying.The simulation filter not only has good efficiency but also can fast filter out the direct current disturbance, the self-vibration disturbance, the movement goal disturbance and so on without the limits of the examination scope. Using these characteristics, the paper designed the Chebyshev low-pass filter, the Biquadratic Elliptic function high-pass filter and manufactured the printing wiring board. The filter circuit could achieve the anticipating filter goal according to analyzing the results of simulating and experiment.The USB string port communication is fast, flexible and succinct. Making use of these characteristics and correlation function of data gathering, we could realize the data gathering after filter. The experiment indicated that the signal frequency could be gathered accurately. This could provide the reliable guarantee for withdrawing the Doppler frequency fast, accurately and effectively.The digital filter may fast filter out the disturbance signal whose frequency overlaps or approaches the objective signal. In order to guarantee response rapidity, the paper chose the VC++6.0 software development platform, which has quickly algorithm processing speed. There were two feasible methods for signal processing using the digital filter. One was the classical spectral analysis theory. This method was quick and reliable, but lacked in flexibility.The other was the self-adaptive filter theory based on the least square method. This method had some characteristics such as strong self- adjustment ability, wide applicable scope and so on, but the algorithm cycle was longer. We could choose different method in the light of the particular object. The experiment indicated: the filter effect of the classical spectral analysis method was good, the speed was quick;the self-adaptive filter compatibility was stronger.The velocity tracking system was not only economical and practical but also exquisite and convenient carrying. The key technology of signal processing combined hardware with software. This technology guaranteed the system response rapidity and the adaptability by nimble choosing algorithm. Although the operation cycle of the self-adaptive filter algorithm was slightly longer than that of the spectral analysis algorithm, it was very difficult to give it up because of its formidable adaptability. The self-adaptive algorithm indicated the direction for the system development further.
