Recently, the diesel engine is widely used than before and has gradually become the first choice for automobiles, because of its higher fuel economy and lower HC and CO emissions. The crucial discharges of diesel engine are NOx emissions and (PM) particle material emissions. So lowering NOx and PM emissions is the ultimate handicap along developing of diesel engines. Utilizing technology of the additive H2O2 can both lower largely PM and NOx emissions, meanwhile the fuel consumption is reduced. Hydrogen peroxide can be decomposed and generate OH "(hydroxyl radical) and other Free radicals. The participating of these Free radicals can reform combustion performance, so improve combustion efficiency.This article is one of the tasks of NSFC (No.50222205), it is cooperating by Department of mechanical engineering of Armored Force Engineering Institute and the Research Institute of I. C. Engine DUT. The article developed a H2O2 injection system , and it injectes propriety quantity of H2O2 into intake pipe on the timing. This article also shows the testing results of the system .It applied to a 135 diesel engine, and investigates the effect of additive H2O2 on emissions and combustion. The testing results show that the additive H2O2 can improve the combustion. The Max pressure is hoisted by the additive H2O2. The angles between the Max pressure point and the TDC is reduced by the additive H2O2. The rate of radiative is becoming gently and the max temperature is also receded by the additive H2O2. The results also show the effect of additive H2O2 on emissions of the engine. NOx can be reduced by 30% and it can be reduced further by improving the concentration and quantity of H2O2. Soot is reduced with the improving quantities of the H2O2, it can reach the min at the quantity of 12%, the Soot will hoist if the quantities is improved further. Fuel consumption also can be reduced by the additive H2O2 and it can be reduced further by improving the concentration and quantity of H2O2. It can be reduced by 3% at the 35% quantity of the additive H2O2, and it can be hoisted by improving the quantities of the additive H2O2.
