Because of permeate coefficient changing heavy and permeate passway uneven in sand stratum and gravel bed, there are many problems during grouting, such as boring hole difficulty, spreading radius and grouting effect widely different etc. To these questions, in this paper some behavior and effect of the grouting in sand stratum and gravel bed can be got by the laboratory and field grouting test. The computing program of seepage which can compute the head of water and the equipotenrial line has been setup. And the safe stability of different grouted layers can be analyzed in the course of seepage by using the result of computing. At last, some conclusions and suggestions of the grouting in sand stratum and gravel bed can be got by using the result of grouting test and computing.First of all, according to experimental purpose and demand, the test model can be designed. And all kinds of sands and gravels can be mixed by the case of particle compose and the density of layer. Then the mixed material can be packed into the test model. The model can be grouted under certain pressure and the injection test can be done after 7 days. According to the case of grouting, the result of injection test and the case of grouted layer, the effect of grouting and spread radius of grout can be analyzed. And then hydraulic slope in grouted sand stratum and gravel bed can be counted, and the safe stability of different grouted layers can be analyzed in the course of seepage by using the result of counting.Because the laboratory grouting test has much limitation, it is necessary to do the field grouting test. The effect of field grouting and some experiences of execution can be gained by the grouting test of the XIABANDI Hydroelectric Project.The computing program of seepage can be used by the result of field grouting test in the XIABANDI Hydroelectric Project. And the hydraulic slope at different point in grouted sand stratum and gravel bed can be got. The result of computing can be used to analyze the safe stability of seepage, and it can be used to supplement the result of field grouting test.Finally, according to all of the result, some experiences of field execution and conclusions of the grouting in sand stratum and gravel bed can be got, and the feasibility of using curtain grouting in the XIABANDI Hydroelectric Project was proved. I hope some knowledge in this thesis can be used in the future.
