Valve is an important device in the pipeline system. It is widely used in aerospace application, national defense construction, industrial and agricultural production and daily life. On demand of control dependability and low resistance, so the study focuses on structure of valve. While in the past, more attention was paid to it from mechanic view. Due to complicated inside structure of valve and plenty of flow pattern, it has theoretical meanings and practical value to study valve inside flow on the view of hydraulics, especially large diameter cyclic type regulating valve. FLUENT is a kind of software that is widely used in flow simulation. With it, flow field in different type of valves, including jet pump, is calculated, which provides a basis for such study. Therefore, the study in paper is useful to explore new valve. The main content of the thesis includes:(1) It briefly introduces the current state and the development of the studies on valves in China. Based on analysis of the current state of the flow pattern modeling abroad and at home, explains the meaning of the mathematical simulation of the flows in the valve.(2) Comparing flow simulation data of jet pump with its experimental one, the feasibility and reliability of FLUENT used for flow simulation are proved.(3) Based on the characteristic of valves, the fluid field analysis of specific ring-spray type flow-adjustable is finished. The valve structure is optimized to meet the need, which makes it have such advantages: (1)smaller vortex area and faintish vortex intensity, so the vibration of vortex is controlled effectively; (2)the pressure is distributed more equality, the transition area is larger. The local stress state is improved because of the valve bearing more equable, and the valve is more secure. (3)The lowest absolute pressure is higher then water vaporizable pressure, so no vibration generated by cavitations.(4) Combining actual project with three-dimension flow calculation in Butterfly's valve and through an analysis of its result, conclusion and suggestion that are beneficial to the engineering design and operation have been drawn. |
