Solar energy is optimal for future energy demand. In these years, many countries are working on the R&D of solar industry. The application of solar energy in China develops fast in last ten yeas. But the solar industry of China develops slowly and the technology of Chinese solar industry is limited. Especially, the medium temperature solar industry is hardly developed. A method to improve Chinese medium temperature solar industry is to use the auto sun-tracking device to enhance the performance of the solar energy transfer machine. This paper presents a self-adaptable sun-tracking platform with multi-precision. In this paper, several typical solar energy concentrators are studied. Design processes of these concentrators are introduced. By analyzing these concentrators, we can find an optimal one according to the requirements. After choosing the concentrator and improve it, we finally develop a cheap concentrator with good performance. This paper presents the structure of the controlling system of the self-adaptable sun-tracking platform and explains how the controlling system works according to the sunshine condition. Sun detect part and signal processing part and power system are presented in detail. The circuit diagram is given in the paper. Three type of mechanism are put forward in the paper according to their working environments. This paper analyzes the structure of them, the performance of them, the advantage of them and the cost of them. Finally, this dissertation introduces the summary and the prospect of successive work of the project.
