Disturbed Soil And Its Quantization Index

During the processing of construction, the soil is disturbed more or less, its state is changed continually. The physical parameter, mechanical parameter and infiltration parameter that are usually determined can only reflect the properties in a certain state. Soil in different states was expressed in the text through theory of disturbance, and it is necessary to consider physics state and stress state of the soil.The major works and results of this dissertation were as follows:(1) This text has defined a concept of disturbance: when soil is influenced by external factor, its property has changed. That is soil disturbance. The intensity of the disturbance is called the disturbance degree. Disturbance includes soil strengthening and soil softening, and soil damage is a softening disturbance.(2) The disturbance state concept that Desai put forward was modified, and disturbance degree which reflect the physical property and stress state was set up. And the disturbance degree expression was founded through consolidation test and triaxial compression test. Then it is proposed a disturbance degree expression which can reflect the soil strengthening as well as the soil damaging.(3) Disturbance degree was applied to earth pressure under non-limit state. And by the disturbance degree it has explained the earth pressure distribution of translation movement mode well.(4) The relations between initial tangential modulus, confining pressure, over-consolidation ratio and initial void ratio were deduced, and were proved through triaxial compression test. And the relation between tangential modulus and initial tangential modulus through the disturbance degree was founded.(5) Through disturbance degree, each mechanical parameter of constitutiveequations is modified. It is successful in leading the disturbance degree in soil constitutive model, a disturbance constitutive model was founded, and it have fully considered the change of each mechanical parameter in the whole course.
