| The development of the state monitoring and fault diagnosis is an inter-disciplinary and cross-field technology. It involves a number of correlative technologies such as sensor technology, data collecting technology, signal analyzing and data processing technology, data communication technology, intelligent control technology and so on. The traditional periodical maintenance system in the hydropower plant is being replaced by the state maintenance system. Being a sub-system of the auxiliary equipment system in the hydropower plant, the technical water supply system is an important factor to ensure the plant work safely and reliably. Therefore it is very necessary to research on the state monitoring and fault diagnosis of the technical water supply system in the hydropower plant.Taking the technical water supply system upgrading project on Xiaolangdi Hydropower Plant as an example, and considering the frequent faults of the system, this paper designs the network configuration of the supervision system of the technical water supply system. By utilizing the technology of artificial neural network, the system builds up a hierarchical fault diagnosis model of the technical water supply system in the hydropower plant, as well as a faults set and a symptoms set of the state monitoring and fault diagnosis system, based on which a set of feature vectors is also built up.In this paper, the technology based on SOM (self-organizing feature map) neural network is adopted, and a method of frequent fault diagnosis of the equipment in the technical water supply system is proposed. According to the characteristics of the technical water supply system and SOM neural network, the paper proposes a corresponding membership function. Finally the paper analyzes and validates the effectiveness of the method used on diagnosing neural network faults.By transferring the functions that are supplied with the neural network tool kit of MATLAB in the program to recognize and analyze the fault mode, the developing efficiency of the software are improved.As a sub-system of the auxiliary equipment system in the hydropower plant, the technical water supply system must work under the safety and reliability, which is also very important to the hydropower plant. The research results of this paper have certain reference value for the monitoring and maintenance of the auxiliary equipment system status in the hydropower plant. |
