CFG piles composite foundation is a new method that is applied in the soft soil consolidation in the late 1980s in China , due to its economic efficiency and goodfeasibility, it has found wide application in architectural engineering. However, CFG piles isn't universal to be used in the soft soil consolidation of the highway. The base rigidity of the archetectual engineering and the embankment is varied, and it has great influence on the mechanical characteristics of the composite foundation. There have been some relatively perfect theories and methods for the performance analysis of composite foundation under rigid infrastructure, while those for the performance analysis of composite foundation under flexible infrastructure are still not perfect. At present, the research on composite foundation under flexible infrastructure still uses the theoretical hypothesis under rigid infrastruture, which bring some problems in the practical application and the theory research.Based on the ANSYS software, this paper generates 2-D mathematical grouped-piles model to analyze the influential factors of the bearing behavior of the composite foundation, such as the length of pile, the depth and modulus of mattress layer, the modulus ratio of soil and pipe, the displacement of pipe, etc. In order to distinguish the difference between the rigid and flexible infrastructure, this paper also generates the singled-pile model. Relying on the distribution of the pipe friction, the new method is proposed to calculate the settlement of composite foundation. The result derived from this method is compared with that of practical data to vertify its correctness.
