Safety Estimate And Engineering Study Of AnGuang River Bank Project

Through Anqing embankment project and Guangjiwei embankment project, the existing safety problems and the safety state of embankments and the measures taken to reinforce the embankments are thoroughly discussed in this paper. The grades of the embankments are determined based on safety viewpoint and correspond engineering measures are studied. The main points of this paper are followings:(1 )The commonly existing problems in embankment project are analyzed. The basic information and main character of the danger faced by the embankments in China during the flood season are summarized. The idea of studying the embankment project as a system project is put forward. In this way, the main content of the safety evaluation of embankment project is determined and the qualitative evaluation result of each embankment project is got.(2) The methods for collecting the data for safety evaluation and the main content of the safety evaluation are stated in this paper. The main geological problems in the prospecting area of An-Guang embankment are also studied and the method to evaluate the geological character of the embankment by sections is given. The main safety problems of An-Guang embankment are analyzed.(3) According to the conditions on which the safety evaluation of An-Guang embankment is based, Correspond safety state of the embankment is evaluated and the result show that An-Guang embankment has serious hidden safety danger. This result is got through a thoroughly analysis of the embankment body, the embankment ground, the embankment buildings, the stability of the river and the management of the embankment project. An - Guang embankment is unable to control the flood that it is design to. The safety grade of An - Guang embankment is above the third degree and necessary works should be taken to reinforce it and remove the hidden danger.(4 )The reinforcement measures to remove the existing safety danger of An-Guang embankment are studied and different plans for the embankment body, the embankment ground and the embankment buildings are put forward. The key protecting sections of the embankment are fixed on the basis of the main controlling line of the river. At the same time, a news unified management system of An-Guang embankment is also put forward besides the engineering measures proposed in this paper.
