Study On Reliability Appraisal Of The Structures Through Grey System Theory

Appraisal is a special period in the process of reliability control. Although thestructure appraisal has such advantages as simple and utility, it has couple ofdeficiencies. So it is necessary for the reliability method of building to be improvedand more perfect.This thesis is just meeting this urgent society need, a new appraisal method isintroduced--gray integrated theory. The characteristic of this method is that it sums upthe white number of different clustering objects according to the appraisal grade ofstructure reliability, and then the appraisal grade of structure reliability is estimated.With GM(1,1) model based on Gray Theory, buildings' sedimentation value isforecasted and the develop state is evaluated. We get a valuable result which producesan important means and basis for structure reliability appraisal.We take a reliability appraisal to a mansion in Tianjin City (building 1#, gate1), first we do it according to <> andthen the Gray integrated evaluation method is used, and better result is obtained. Thismethod has several advantages such as simpleness of calculation, higher accuracy, andnicer reflection of structural reliability and therefore decreases effects of the uncertainfactors make to results of the reliability appraisal.Based on Gray Integrated Appraisal Method, facing to objects and visualtechnique are adopted, gray integrated evaluation software system for buildings isdeveloped for the sake of engineering application.
