When the vehicle passes the bridge with the certain speed, bridge willproduce dynamic effect, such as vibration and pound, etc. The vibration of t-he bridge also have an effect on the vibration of vehicles at the same time. This kind of interaction is called'vehicle-bridge coupled vibration'.In the-ories and practice, predecessors have affirmed that the vehicle moving loadswould lead to more deformations and stresses for bridge structures. When vehicle passes by bridge, it has been all the time attracted abro-ad attention due to its close relation to practical applications. At first,in thi-s thesis, based on the reference to kinds of literature,it is presented on wit-h a concise review of vehicle-bridge vibration, history is reviewed, and so-me problems and further research work of the methods are discussed. In this dissertation, based on summarizing and absorbing the achievement inthe pioneer works, the coupled vibration of vehicle-bridge system is studied, andthe main research work is as follows:(1)For the even simply supported beam, theory analysis research ofmoving vehicle to the bridge is given;(2) The model of vehicle-bridge is simplified, nonlinear coupled vibration ofvehicle-bridge is mainly dicussed, and the solution to the nonlinear vibration ispresented.(3)A calculating program is made with MATLAB and Maple, numericalsolutions are obtained, meanwhile,a series of response figures are drawn accordingto the solutions.(4) It is primarily discussed that the nonlinear factor has some effect on thedynamic behavior of vehicle-bridge;(5) The model of vehicle-bridge is equally simplified, and its numerical solution and analytical solution is given.Based on the vibration characteristic of vehicle-bridge system,we hope thatthe analysis solutions can supply some reliable reference result for the design andwork method of engineering structures.
