Power flow calculation is the base of the system securiries analyse and calculation,because of the large scale of system and variational instances, there are some difficulties inconvergence and efficiency to some extent for on-line power flow calculation. A regionalnetwork power flow calculation program is researched and realized in this paper, IEEE14-bus,IEEE30-bus, IEEE118-bus, some simulation of sub-station and the datum of the Lanzhouregional power system are convergent in this program, and the results are good compared with that ofBPA. The Newton method with nonlinear item is used in the program, the improved optimalmultiplier method presented by this paper, which has been proved to be effective in reducingthe iterative times and saving time, To improve the convergence and efficiency, the pragrammutilize and conversion between PQ and PV nodes. To save time some sparse matrixtechniques, such as triaggle storage, node ordering algorithm, etc. are used. Take account ofthe different models beteen the real instance of the Lanzhou regional power system and the standardsystem of IEEE, this paper pragramm with two transformer models. In addition, this pragramm can be usedin the power flow calculation of substation's simulation and training system.
