With the more and more severe influence of aging of population and improving of living standard, aged-elder as well as handicapped will cry for aid walk instruments. As the central part of electric wheelchair, controller will directly influence its performance. So it has profound significance to study controller of electric wheelchair.Although conventional DC motor always takes up dominant station in driving system, its mechanical commutator and brush result in limited capability, low reliability, big noise. People manage to develop more quiet, high efficiency and reliability, big capability driving motor. With the development of the power-electronics and micro-control technique, permanent-magnet brushless DC motor which has small volume, light weight, high efficiency, low noise, big capability and reliability appeared and matured, so it is hopeful to become main motor applied in electric-wheelchair.This dissertation presents a solution to control a permanent-magnet brushless DC motor using TMS320LF2407A. This new family of DSP enables cost-effective design of intelligent controllers for brushless motors which can fulfill more conditions, consisting of fewer system components which can fulfill more conditions, consisting of fewer system components, lower system cost and increased performances. The research is divided into five part: the mathematical model is built and the control structure, technology, strategy and chip are confirmed by the timing principle, the Matlab/Simulink simulation which aimed at the BLDC motor control system has been executed;many parts of servo system are selected in the paper;based on TI's DSP-TMS320LF2407A and IR's driving chip-IR2130 and MOSDFET-IRF2807 the hardware circuit is designed;working out initialization programme of some main components and the whole frames, and with assemble language of DSP and C, the software programes is written;the validity of control method presented in the paper is verified by simulation and analyze.
