Bridges are one of the facilities of transportation. With the development of traffic and the advancement of technology, the detection of bridge is considered to be more and more important. Its main signification expresses in the applications as follows: assess of actual carrying capacity of existing bridges, foundation of technical information of bridges, and developments of the assess theories of old bridges and design theories of new bridges. Since 1940s, finite element method (FEM) gradually holds the important roles in scientific research and engineering analysis. The simulation of bridge is based on entire FEM model, which can completely and exactly reflects the actual state and behavior. This text explains the principle, method and content of the arched bridge in detail, relying on the project instance sets up the whole bridge structure simulation analysis model at the same time. Finally, supporting from aforementioned model, testing each operating mode of the static-state loading test, analyze that calculates after carrying on the static-state loading of the structure. Compared the results of simulation with the results of field examination, we can find there is consistency. If the whole bridge structure simulation analysis technology combine with the loading test of the arched bridge, it can receive more exhaustive and accurate result relatively than tradition measure theory and abate the burden of the detection task. There are good application prospects in the future.
