In 1889, the construction of Afire Tower is a symbol of the use of steel in high-rising structures. Then, high-rising steel structures spring up like mushroom. The anti-fire problem of steel structure is always a research topic. After the event of 9.11 in America, the performance of steel structures under fire is received extensive attention. But China code for fireproof is not exact and reasonable because it is based on the anti-fire experiment of single steel member. In the paper, the author design a scheme of steel structure experiment to research on the performance of single member and structure under high temperature.In view of difficulties in experiments, the author simulate a steel frame under fire by finite-element software .Then we can know of something ,which is the performance of steel frame of every period ,the law of deformation and change of interior heat stress.
