In recent years, with the development of CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) it has become an important research direction to use CFD to study the mechanism of the flow in the valve and then optimize the design with the simulation result. With this method not only can it save the experiment equipment and reduce the development time, but also can demonstrate the flow details in the flow field which can not obtain in the experiment.The flow field in a kind of Check Valve is studied with commercial software package FLUENT in this paper. The main work is as follows: The paper summarizes the situation of Check Valve research . A detailed analysis of the basic theory and method about Computational Fluid Dynamics is presented, including contrast and analysis of various models for turbulence, SIMPLE computational method for solving algebra equation group and various techniques for creating grid. At last, thenumerical simulation of the uncompressed flow three dimensions field in FWJQH45X-10 Multiple Flow Passages Spherical Check Valve and the examination concerned is conducted. Considering the complexity of the bent surface of check valve, the fluid passage of the check valve is sculpted in this text with software( PRO/E) using for sculpting, then the whole sculpted results will be guided into GAMBIT and plotted grid, the flow under three kinds velocity of flow is calculated by FLUENT, the velocity field and pressure field in valve is calculated under the complete opening, 1/3 opening and 2/3 opening of spherical core, the three dimensions distributing map is showed, a great deal of analyzed result about the flow field is obtained, including distributed maps of static pressure, total pressure and velocity vector, which supply correlated data and improved direction for the next designation. For comparing and consulting, H44X-10 check valve which its plank will be opened by revolving under working with the same diameter is calculated.Many important phenomena of the flow are observed from the simulation results, such as large turbulence. The overall calculated results of the valve obtained by numerical simulation are compared with the experimental data. They have good coincidence.
