Being economical and applicable, continuous rigid frame bridge has found wide application in western China. However, with time, the mid-span deflection became a marked disease, and even influenced the common use of the bridge. Then author compiled the creep program use FORTRAN77, and added the creep program to ANSYS by UPFs function, in order to accomplish the simulation and analysis of the disease. It is a universal phenomenon that bridge's disease, and the too big deflection of the mid-span is a universal phenomenon to continuous rigid frame bridge. The creep is a main reason, and the rustiness of the prestressed steel is another reason, and more the run of the overrun vehicle. The creep is detailed introduced on this paper.ANSYS secondary development is an originality innovation in continuous rigid frame bridge analysis field. As ANSYS advanced development technology, UPFs provided the function of user creep equation. Take advantage of above-mentioned function, and introduce the "stable state creep" of metal structure, so the disease analysis by ANSYS is set up.At last, by the use of ANSYS, author built the finite element model of the continuous rigid frame bridge, and analysed various parameter of lead to disease. There are two explorations: the one is preventive measure, another is how to solve the disease. The conclusion of this paper is useful to design and construct the continuous rigid frame bridge, to avoid the disease of mid-span deflection.
