Design standards for energy efficiency of building (design standards for energy efficiency of residential building in hot summer and cold winter zone, etc) explicit that the synthetic index of building energy efficiency must adopt dynamics method, the outdoors' meteorology parameter of the synthetic index adopt TMY(typical meteorological year), and the software DOE-2 was adopted as simulation tool for design of building energy efficiency.Solar radiation is an important index selected typical meteorological year, which effect building energy consumption. But solar radiation data is deficient, so how to calculate solar radiation turn into a key problem.This dissertation discussed the method of typical meteorological year, global solar radiation model and hourly solar radiation model.According the analysis of the relationship between clearness index and shine hour percent, it is concluded that the linear of clearness index and shine hour percent is clear. The statistical calculation method of solar radiation is constituted by the correlation between clearness and sunshine percentage. Based this model, solar radiation is calculated. The error of the result is not more than ten percent.It is supposed that hourly clearness index is equal to daily clearness index. Based the assumption global solar radiation is transformed to hourly solar radiation. The result is accord with the truly data when the weather is clear.
