In our country, as the national economy to develop in thewestern center , the vast cold area construction inevitably willencounter an increasing number of permafrost engineering issues, such as frost heaving and thaw collapse of the construction ofhousing in the permafrost zone based frozen, railway tracks frostboil, thaw collapse and boiling of the highway roadbed, frostfissures and ice in the traffic tunnel. Moreover, in most parts ofnorth China winter, and spring irrigation are under the seasonalfrost boil conditions. Therefore, in frost boil conditions the study ofunfrozen water, to the country's economic construction, permafrostzone construction, environmental protection, soil moistureconservation, water use and farm irrigation management practicesare important significance. The testing soil samples were taken from Hailar'er -Daqingoil pipeline. Permafrost layer of the pipeline region hascharacteristics of thickness thin permafrost , the annual averagegeothermal high, unstable and more drastic frost boil. Permafrost inthe region are in gradually recede process, the project may pose aserious threat. Unfrozen water content is leading factor in thepermafrost physical and mechanics nature, especiallyhigh-temperature permafrost. Unfrozen water research is importantto meet the principles for the protection of permafrost, and ensurethe economic security of the building and operation. It can providea more accurate permafrost unfrozen water content data to helpother physics and mechanics indicators identified. The full text consists of five chapters. The first chapter introduced the content and significance ofpermafrost unfrozen water research and the main elements of thisresearch and technology line. Unfrozen water is a very importantcomponent of permafrost .It is a core issue in the process offreezing and thawing and re-distribution of the relocation .The second chapter is unfrozen water content measurementwith the method initial freezing temperature. The treatments isbased on the principles of initial freezing temperature, so the firstintroduced is the initial freezing temperatures and a water contentis summarized the main factors affecting the initial freezingtemperatures. Next to determine unfrozen water of the different soilsamples with the method initial freezing temperature. The third chapter is focused on unfrozen water contentmeasurement of heat. This part discussed the impact laws of themain factors(temperature, soil and water content)of permafrostThe fourth chapter discussed unfrozen water contentmeasurement with the method initial freezing temperature. The firstpart from the principles of law describes that unfrozen watercontent measurement with the method initial freezing temperaturetheory is wrong, and then by means of analysis of unfrozen watercontent measured in laboratory research and test data, it proved thatunfrozen water content measurement with the method initialfreezing temperature is inaccurate. The fifth chapter is based on the summary of chapter two tochapter four to summarize the main factors influencing freezingtemperatures and unfrozen water content. In theoretical analysisthat unfrozen water content measurement with the method initialfreezing temperature is derived by forecasting model Wu = aθ ?b.But in the course of the formula study, it confused the initialfreezing temperatures with either negative temperature. Therepresent different two meanings and different processes inunfrozen water measurement. Thus theoretically it exists error. Thecomparison of the data shows that both the data laboratory testsmeasure or the data informed indicate that unfrozen water contentmeasurement with the method initial freezing temperature isinaccurate. In the same negative temperature, the values ofunfrozen water content measurement with the method initialfreezing temperature are relatively large.
