Absorber is one of the most important components in lithium-bromide absorption refrigerator, whose heat transfer area is about 40 percents of all the components. Precooling the lithium-bromide before its entrance into the absorber is adapted on the basis of a double effect lithium-bromide absorption refrigeration cycle according to strengthen the cooling progress in traditional absorber, and packing is used to aggrandize the heat transfer area .On double effect lithium-bromide absorption refrigeration cycle. A theoretical model of lithium-bromide solution's flowage down the slope flat packing is established and predigested based on the initial and boundary conditions. The temperature and velocity's distribution of the liquid film are programmed to gain along with the absorber's parameters' variety with Fourier time, such as Sherwood number, solution concentration and absorption ratio.Thermodynamic calculations were carried out and the effects of some parameters such as temperature difference of pre-cooling, evaporation temperature, solution concentration of absorber inlet, mass flow rate of absorber inlet on absorption performance of refrigerator were investigated.Experimental research is carried out on designed double effect lithium-bromide absorption refrigeration in order to verify the theory model and its water system is reconstructed. The effects of solution concentration and solution temperature of absorber inlet, mass flow rate of absorber inlet and pre-cooler characteristic on absorption performance and performance of refrigerator were investigated. Thus, the advantages of spray absorber and absorption cycle with spray absorber were verified further which would provide a basis of practicality in commerce.
