The thesis makes experimental study to the EI-DRB swirling burner early used and swirling burner with central feeding-powder existing in #2 boiler of XiBaipo Power Plant Co., Ltd. Experimental results show that swirling burner with central feeding-powder not only increases boiler efficiency, but reduces emission of NOX and improves the flame-stabilization in low-load operation condition.To further optimize the performance of swirling burner with central feeding-powder. Numerical simulation method is implemented on aerodynamic field of the burner with the RNG k ?εmodel and SIMPLEC algorithm. The results are in agreement with experimental results. Numerical simulation results also give us the academic evidence for reconstruction to burner of #3 boiler.According to the results of numerical simulation and experimental research, the suggestion on reconstruction to the burner of #3 boiler is made to prevent fire extinction, increase boiler efficiency, reduce emission of NOX and improve the flame-stabilization in low-load operation condition.
