On technology and apparatus , comparing to the usual construction , the dependences and needs of ocean engineering are stronger and more .Dynamical position system can make the vessel keep certain position and direction on the sea , have advantages that are not restricted by the depth of water and enter or retreat rapidly , and achieve the precise flexibility of ships . To many vessels which carry on the operation on the sea , it is necessary to use the dynamical position system .The movement of vessels on the sea usually divide for low frequency movement that composes of wind , flow , two steps wave , and high-frequency movement that composes of a steps wave . As the performance of high-frequency movement is cyclical shocks and will not lead to the influence of average position , in order to avoid unnecessary energy waste and the abrasion of thruster , it usually isolates the low frequency signal to control from comprehensive position signal of vessels .So , filter plays a very important role in the dynamical position system .At the present, Kalman wave filter,the time-variant wave filter and the first-order wave filter are familiar. They can filter the wave disturbance, but they have faultiness in some aspect . So H_∞ filtering technology is introduced.The significance of this work is on the analysis in the structural and dynamic characteristics of dynamical position system , linearization in the model of dynamical position . Conducted research on methods of H_∞ filter on the basis of the linear mathematical models of established dynamic orientation , and research the equation of the H_∞ filters .
