This paper take the origin of ancient accumulation, as well as the future debris flow disaster to the SeErGu hydropower station as the main research content. This paper will analyse the origin of ancient accumulation in the aspect of the terrain landform characteristic, the granularity characteristic and paleoclimate. In this foundation, this paper will construe the possibility of the HongShui ditch bloked up by forming natural stone dam,in the end,the disaster to the downriver hydropower by HongShui debris flow will be analysed under the most disadvantageous situation of dam disintegration flood and nowadays breakage condition. This paper references to the former achievement to get some primary study achievements as follows by analysis and summary:(1) It can be found that there is a obvious difference between the ancient accumulation and moraine formed by glacial action, regardless of is the terrainlandform characteristic or the granularity characteristic.(2) After the analysis contrast,it is obvious that the content of gravel powder sand and clay in the ancicent is high, and manifests consistent characteristic with the debris flow deposit in aspect of frequency curve, accumulation curve, cumulative-probablive curve and grain-size distribution parameter. It can be concluded that the ancient comes from the debris flow and the type is coherent debris flow by take into account the paleoclimate characteristic when the ancicent accumulation comed into being and geologic setting of active tectonic movement.(3) The upstream area of unstable slope has the possibility to give birth to slide and collape, after losing steadily, the quantities of the solid matter which blocks up the HongShui ditch is about 5×10~4m~3, the unit time quantity of stones that enter into ditch is about 3496.5m~3/s,which is more bigger than 149m~3/s that is the smallest...
