Expanded Metal Mesh is applied primarily to concrete surface layer, road bridge , water conservancy project etc at the present time, which can reduce shrinkage of concrete and temperature stress effectively, advance the crack-resistance and impact-resistance ability, especially the crack-resistance ability, EMM has the obvious advantage. However, the research on EMM is not enough, which restrict its application in engineering. The composite wall structure with the structural concrete columns and ring beams has being used in engineering widely, which can be built with more stories and total height and has good seismic performance, but the present code of masonry structure only involves the provision about calculation method of axial compression, eccentric compression and horizontal shear in plane, the eccentric compression performance out-of-plane and its calculation method are not involved, and the study in this respect is few, which make the design of the composite wall structure short of academic and testing foundation. So in the first part of this paper, based on the contrast test of concrete two-way slabs reinforced with expanded metal mesh and common reinforced concrete and the study of other persons, the author has mainly carried out the research on the following aspects :⑴Based on the contrasting analysis of crack development, distribution rule and the failure configuration of two-way-slabs, the influence of special form of EMM on the crack development is studied;⑵The transferring rule of bonding forces and its influence on crack spacing and width are analyzed too.⑶To explore whether EMM can used in house building as structural main material, Bearing capacity and stiffness of the two kinds of slabs are analyzed contrastively, meanwhile, the calculation methods of cracking and limited load are advanced; In the second part of this paper, based on the failure test of the composite masonry walls with structural concrete column under concentrated loading out-of-plane, the influences of force and eccentricity on the coordination of columns, ring beams and masonry walls are discussed, the transfer and distribution rules of section stresses in the horizontal and vertical direction of the walls are revealed, the emergence and development of cracks, the deformation and failure mechanism of members are investigated, and the reasons and rules influencing the behaviors of masonry wall are discovered, at last, the spacial effects caused by the bracing and constraint out-of-plane are analyzed, some meanful conclusions are concluded as following:⑴The composite masonry wall has obvious special effects under out-of-plane eccentric compression, its deformation is harmonious, masonry, structure concrete columns and ring beams bear the load together, and obvious stress redistribution happens during the loading process;⑵The greater the stiffness of beams are, the better the cracking-resistance, loading bearing and deformation capacity are. The influence of beams'stiffness on the...
