Low Speed and Heavy Load Rolling Bearings always withstand more heavy impact loads. With the development of the modern industries, the applications of the Low Speed and Heavy Load Rolling Bearings have being more and more extensive. Low Speed and Heavy Load Rolling Bearings always are installed in the key parts of large equipments. Once these bearings'faults occur, the production is affected seriously, the cost of maintenance is huge and the period of replacement is too long, which cause the huge economy losing. By traditional methods, it is very hard to monitor and diagnose the bearings with low speed and heavy load because of its own special structure and operation features. With the development of bearing material and the fixing precision, the result of current calculation to the Low Speed and Heavy Load Rolling Bearings'surplus service life are more different to the actual productions.The design and manufacture of the Low Speed and Heavy Load Rolling Bearings are not only mastered by foreigners but also the products depend on importation mostly. Design without damage is always thought to be a principle on the choice of the bearings. The information of Low Speed and Heavy Load Rolling Bearings'life and the researches on service life of that type of bearings is hard to be acquired currently. Since the economic conditions are limited, the bearings with the excellent capability and heavy carrying capacity could be hardly chosen and used, and many bearings are demand to be serviced sustained, whose service life has reach or outreach the design life. The accidents are always taken place for some reasons such as very difficult maintenance, badly working conditions and eyeless using.For the present status, this dissertation consults and studies the fault diagnostic theories and methods firstly, and researches the condition monitor and life estimate of the Low Speed and Heavy Load Rolling Bearings by theoretical and experimental methods. The relevant results are:1) This thesis applies parameterization technique to build the Low Speed and Heavy Load Rolling Bearings'model, and make a calculation of its strain and stress by using contact nonlinear finite element method. The result of its basic strain and stress is thought to be accuracy according to the test.2) The evaluation standard of the running status for Low Speed and Heavy Load Rolling Bearings is hardly certain. This thesis makes the tests and research on the base of contrastive analysis. In result, we could get the basically operating method for the same type and the same environment but different bearings by the condition monitor and contrastive analyze. The particular signals of different type of bearings are also decided for the experimental research.3) At last, the evaluating method of bearings'remain service life is put forward towards converter trunnion bearing and the slewing bearing of rotary column. The result accords with fact basically.
