Turbulence has a direct effect of the fuel-gas and the flame velocity on internal-combustion engines. Turbulent intensity of spark ignited time can improve thermal diffuse and affect lean combustion velocity and cyclic variability in the spark ignition engine. At the same time, turbulence also affect the economic and emission performances of engines. The investigation on the turbulence of internal combustion engines include two sides. Firstly, it is the relation of turbulent characteristic and combustion process. Secondly, it is the rule of turbulent produce, development and distribution. The investigation can analyse and instruct the airflow organizing process of internal-combustion engines, namely, the designs of intake, exhaust systems and combustion chambers. However, because the measurement of turbulent parameters is very difficult, the author put forward a quasidimensional turbulent combustion model. The model can be optimized by its calculations and experiments. At last, the relation of turbulent characteristic and combustion process can be established by the calculations of turbulent parameters. And that provide evidences for the designs of intake, exhaust systems and combustion chambers. There are of great practical value for the sake of improving the power and economic and reducing the gross exhaust emissions of gasoline engines. The paper contains following five contents. The significance, development and present condition of cylinder airflow for combustion process in gasoline engines are expounded, the works that this paper will make are presented in chapter1. A quasi-dimensional turbulent combustion model is proposed for combustion process in gasoline engines, containing quasidimensional diagnosis, quasidimensional forecast, flame diffuse, transfer heat and substance parameters in chapter2.The measurement of cylinder pressure is introduced. It is considered the effects of systemic demarcation, TDC and so on. And that analyse the experiment results in chapter3.Put forward a geometry model for calculating combustion chamber in order to provide parameters that include the bulk and transfer heat area of...
