In recent years, with lucubration in the field of voltage stability, investigators have recognized the importance of loads characteristic in voltage stability. Most of them think, among the factors of influencing voltage stability, loads characteristic is the most active, decisive and directive factor. It determines the process of voltage instability and collapsing in large degree. In the analysis of voltage stability, the result of computing is influenced bigger by loads model than by others. An improper loads model will cause that the result of computing can't meet the reality. It will be optimistic or conservative, which will lead to potential dangers or unnecessary waste in power systems. Therefore, the research of loads model for the analysis of voltage stability becomes more and more important.Considering the two aspects of "fitting to the analysis of voltage stability" and "many reactive power compensators existing in distribution network", this paper investigates static and dynamic equivalent loads model fitting to the analysis of voltage stability.
