Active magnetic bearing (AMB) is one of the typical mechatronic products and a new type of high performance bearing which suspends the rotor in a contact-free manner. Since it has many advantages such as no mechanical touch,no fray,lower power consumption,lower noise,lasting service life and without environmental pollution,it has been paid more and more attention in energy resource,communication,aerospace,mechanical industry,robot and so on.The research of AMB comes down to many science fields such as Electromagnetics,Control Theory,Mechanics, Rotor Dynamics,Digital Signal Process and Computer Science and so on.Most important of them is the research of Controller of AMB.The controller not only decides whether the rotor supported by AMB could suspend steadily,but also affects directly the dynamic performance of the system and its precision.This paper studies and develops AMB's controlling system,applying Electromagnetic theory and taking mechanical bearings as the research object.Firstly,a single freedom mathematics model and the four degree of freedom state equation of AMB are founded.Secondly,the key components of AMB are introduced for the purpose of the analysis and design of the digital...
