Combined with Shanxi transportation technology project-03-01K about design method and carrying capacity research of prestressed concrete curved box girder, the paper discusses the prestressing force effect analysis method of prestressed concrete curved box girder bridge.The paper introduces the history and the present state of prestressed concrete curved box girder bridge research. In despite of the great progress of the analytical theories about the curved beam bridge, there are many problems in the construction design and structural analysis. The finite element method, which is based on the theory of curve girder structure analysis, has been adopted for building the element stiffness matrix, equivalent node force matrix and coordinate transverse matrix. It also discusses the calculation method of structural internal force due to the dead load.Beforce composing the prestressing space fold line, prestressed cable needs the description of horizon and vertical curved coordinate. Using a method which avails compiling the program to calculate diversified prestressing loss and get the effective prestressing force, the paper calculates the structure prestressing force effect which is created by the equivalent load on the structure through conversing the effective prestressing force into concentrated load on points which divides an element into five equivalent parts.Based on the above method and VC++ language, which can describe eigenvalue and realize all kinds of functions of bridge structure analysis, the prestressed concrete curved box girder bridge structure analysis program can be compiled.Though self-compiled program in the paper, two examples of prestressed concrete curved box girder bridge, which are analogued by the grid beam analysis method to get the structure eigenvalue, are claculated and analysed.
