In recent years, the anti-stealth radar technology has been to the research key point and has received attention from the various countries, and due to the merit, meter-wave radar becomes the effective technical way with recognition and good prospects in each kind of anti-stealth technology. But, meter-wave radar itself also has the shortcoming, such as low precision of angle measurement and so on, therefore it mostly applies in the air defense early warning field at present, but very difficult applies in guidance field effectively. How to increase the meter-wave radar's precision of angle measurement is the question which urgently need to be solved.The research aim of the dissertation is to increase meter-wave radar's angle (azimuth) measurement accuracy, make the theory exploration for expanding the application of the meter-wave radar from the early warning field to the guidance field. In order to enhance the meter-wave radar's precision of azimuth measurement, the short-baseline interferometer is chosen to measure the azimuth of the target. The dissertation can be concluded as follows:Representation of short-baseline interferometer system composition, the principle of angle measurement and correlative question. The principle of angle measurement of short-baseline interferometer is that using phase difference between returning signals to obtain the angle of the target. The method has high precision, but has the phase ambiguity problem inevitably, the article give the explanation to the short-baseline interferometer about these two questions.Research on angle measurement accuracy of short-baseline interferometer system. The short-baseline interferometer's angle measurement accuracy is influenced by phase difference measuring accuracy, the base length measuring accuracy, the system operating wavelength (frequency) and so on, the article analyzes the existing theory, and emphatically analyzes the influence of base length measuring accuracy to the precision of angle measurement. In addition, the article also proposed two kinds of method to achieve phase difference between echo waves with Doppler shift to increase its precision of angle measurement.Research on solving phase ambiguity of short-baseline interferometer system. Short-baseline interferometer has phase ambiguity in processing of angle measurement, the reason of phase ambiguity and several solutions to phase ambiguity are analyzed in the article, furthermore, a new method that suit to the short-baseline interferometer is proposed—solving phase ambiguity through frequency conversion, the computer simulation results confirm its effectiveness.Research on application of short-baseline interferometer system. The short- baseline interferometer system may obtain azimuth, distance and speed of the target, therefore the system may realize to two-dimensional localization of target.
