Turntables are widely used in navigation, astronavigation and weapons, which have various types and usage. The two-axis turntable and Visible-Light Optical Target Simulator which have been studied in the paper make up the Visible-Light Optical Target Simulant Detection System, which were used to test the seeker before its installation. Visible-Light Optical Target Simulator describes images of target which needed in the test and research, which is drived by the two-axis turntable to complete the field of image and movement characteristics of the goal. The field of view and movement characteristics of the goal must be in the requirement the seeker and it is the simulant target of the test. It is obvious that the quality of two-axis turntable's control system design is of great importance to completing performance testing and detection successfully.The paper puts forward the general planning of the turntable control system, which is based on performance index of turntable and selects the components of measure control unit, drive unit and measure feedback unit.The paper builds up the mathematics model of the electromotor-drive and the turntable, gives the transfer function of the system and designs the velocity loop's arithmetic and position loop's arithmetic of turntable system. The velocity loop adopts PI control. The position loop adopts PID control. And classic PID control method and numerical PID control method have been introduced in the paper.The paper adopt stabilization border method to set the PID parameters and simulates the control system which is based on Matlab/Simulink. Simulation results indicate that PID control's simulation results have a good effect in Low-frequency stage, but it is not perfect in Mid-frequency and High-frequency stage. Overshoot of step respond is high. Triangular wave curve is not perfect, too.The paper designs Fuzzy-PID control to overcome the deficiency of the traditional PID control, and gets simulation result. The results indicate that Fuzzy-PID control has preferable control quality. |
