| As a kind of typical durable Thermal Protection System (TPS), the metallic Thermal Protection System not only overcomes many disadvantages of the traditional ceramic TPS, but also has many inherent advantages such as low cost of full life span, character of structure module, integration of MTPS and the main structure of vehicle, all weather and easy to check, maintain and exchange. Therefore, it is very important to investigate reusable MTPS technology. As an important part of metallic TPS, the attachment must be strong enough to transfer mechanical load to the substructure and at the same time not much heat quantity. In this dissertation:The advance of the attachment of the Metallic TPS is reviewed, including the history and development home and abroad and so on.A typical attachment of metallic TPS is designed, including prototype design, materials selection and dimension design. The principle of the finite element method is introduced, and some expressions relating to transient dynamic analysis and transient heat transfer analysis are given. The transient dynamical characteristics of the structure are analyzed and the structure is checked according to the theory of intensity. The results are that the maximum displacement and maximum stress occurs at initial time and the maximum stress is less than permissible stress. The temperature distributions of the attachment with different insulations are computed and the influence of insulations with different thermal properties is discussed. The result is that the transverse thermal properties play an important role in temperature distribution of the attachment. |
