In recent years, it is quite common for vehicles to overload in our country. Over-limited and over-load transport has made great damages to traffic security, transportation marketing, vehicle manufacture and infrastructure. Heavy vehicle overload becomes an important cause for damage of high way pavement.Traditionally there are two kinds of weight-in-motion systems: static weighting platform on pavement and bridge dynamic weighting system. Static weighting platform has the requirement of low vehicle speed. It also has low accuracy and is liable to miss measurement. Therefore dynamic measurement and quantitative analysis of vehicle loads have important significance in theory and engineering for research of vehicle dynamics performance and pavement damage mechanism. In order to evaluate the damage to the pavement and bridges caused by vehicle dynamic loads, it is quite important and necessary to measure the status and amplitude of dynamic vehicle loads.Resolving displacement, stress, strain of a structure on the base of known loads motivation is a positive problem of structural analysis. While to inversely resolve loads motivation by measuring structure response under power loads is an inverse problem of structural analysis. The dynamic loads identification technology is to inversely resolve structural dynamic loads according to system dynamic character and actually measured power response. It is a good assurance for reliability and security of road surface structure to identify pavement moving loads accurately.At present time, there is no related literature report in and abroad in identifying moving loads by use of high way structure. This paper has done some basic researches on this. By measuring the response of rigid pavement structure under moving vehicle loads we use structure inversion technology to realize moving loads identification.Firstly, this paper establishes the contact model of pavement and vehicles, and uses the method of transform domain analysis to get structural characteristic of pavement slab and the relation between suffered loads and its response.
