With the development of foreign concrete blocks and the wall reform direction of our country, the concrete block has become the first substitute of the clay brick. The block is made of plastic concrete. Its shape can change with the mould's figure, and it is not only a new style wall material but also a new all-purpose building product. The research using small concrete block substitutes the clay brick with thousands years history has profound meaning to saving energy, environment protection and accelerating the sustainable development of the economy.The dissertation designs a new type treble hole concrete block. Through adding the block hole's number, its thermal resistance increases, but the coefficient of heat conductivity depresses. Research shows the type change has considerable influence to the mechanical and thermal property. Its compressive strength value is above 45% superior to the single-row brick-up, which shows the compress resistance superiority. The thermal resistance is 1.88 times and the thermal inertia index is 1.57 times higher than single-row concrete block, which approach the clay brick's value. The new type concrete hollow block basically meets the national building code standard of the hot summer and warm winter zone, and has better potential application in engineering.
