Self-compacting concrete (SCC) is a kind of high-performance concrete, which can be compacted by itself gravity without vibrator. The workability, mechanical property and durability of SCC are better than normal concrete (NC). A great deal of industry rejectamenta be used for preparation of SCC and it is beneficial to continuable utilization of resource. SCC has become the direction of development of concrete material in the world now.In the paper, SCC with good workability and mechanical property was prepared successfully, and the slump and slump flow of concrete are larger than 25cm and 55cm respectively. A mix proportioning designing computer software for concrete was programmed, the effect of mix proportions parameter on workability of concrete, such as selection of superplasticizer, amount of mixing water, binder content, sand content, and amount of fly ash etc, were analyzed, and the selection of supplementary materials such as fly ash, silica fume, and limestone in SCC and its effect on workability and mechanical property of SCC were discussed.
