With the rapidly development of the science and technology, it requires the engineering dielectric material has higher performance and more types. Then, the hybrid polymer material was occurred. Nano-material attracts more attention because of typical characteristics, such as quantum size effect, small size effect, surface effect, and macroscopic quantum tunneling effect and so on. As a new type of product, the organic-inorganic composition was the focus of the researchers. The inorganic hybrid PI material has well characteristic on the corona resistance, and has been used in the fields of electro-mechanic, electric and electricity, instrument and so on.Thermally Stimulated Current (TSC) is an efficient method to study the dipole relaxation, trap parameters, the deposition and motion of space charge, the structural relaxation and transverse of polymer, motion characteristic of molecular, and so on. So, it was widely used in the studies of dielectric, insulating and semi-conducting material. In the dissertation, we designed an experimental set-up for measuring the partial discharge and tested the films from DuPont, The Changchun Institute of Applied Chemical and our laboratory. The results show that the corona resistance time of hybrid film is much more than the original one and the time rose nonlinearly along with the thickness of the film. The corona resistance time is the longest when the content reach 15% and it has a reverse trend when the content more than this level on the experiment of hybrid film with aluminum. With the breakdown detecting system, we do lots of experiments using the film with silicon and aluminum and found the performance got best when the content reach 8%.
