With the development of modern cities, more and more high-rise buildings are constructed, and hence the large number of deep foundation ditches. Design of deep foundation-ditch support is the crux to successful construction of the deep foundation-ditch project. Support of foundation ditches has the following characteristics: the foundation ditch is becoming deeper, the engineering conditions are becoming worse, the surrounding environmental conditions are complex and changeable, the support methods are becoming more numerous, and correspondingly the accidents of deep-foundation projects are happening more frequently. As to a specific support project, a large number of schemes could be listed for selection. In this article, the optimal support structure scheme is mapped out through study and comparison of engineering cases. Safety of the whole support structure in the course of construction shall be guaranteed, and meanwhile deformation of the structure and soil body shall be controlled for the sake of the safety of the surrounding buildings. In allusion to the relevant problems on the optimized design of deep foundation-ditch support structures and on the basis of summing up relevant documentations, analysis and study are made on present situations of optimized design and design schemes of deep foundation-ditch support structures, and, as a result of careful selection and optimized design of deep foundation-ditch support structures, a reasonable optimized design method is put forward.â‘  Optimized selection of scheme (preliminary design).First, various optimized scheme selection methods are proposed for designing deep foundation-ditch support structures to get a feasible one, and then, advantages and disadvantages of the selection methods are compared and analyzed.â‘¡ Optimization design of details (detailed design).With the rationality of safety and economy of support structures taken into special consideration, an optimized selection method is proposed for designing support structures...
