| Systematic theory and experimental investigation are carried out on active vibration control of adaptive lamina based on Smart Materials and Structures in the airplane engine applications. Grey Forecast Control algorithm is used to suppress the vibration of a plate lamina which simulates the adaptive lamina.Firstly, the basic principles of piezoelectric materials are introduced. Secondly, by D-optimization method and ANSYS mode analysis, the proper arrangement of piezoelectric sensors and actuators is determined. Thirdly, based on Grey System, a new algorithm——Grey Forecast Control algorithm is established and gfc.c is programmed by ANSI C in Turbo C2.0. Fourthly, by theoretical calculation and experimental measure, the characteristics of the plate lamina are acquired. Finally, experiments for plate lamina using GFC are carried out, and the results show that the designed system can control very well not only the vibration of plate lamina but also the adaptive lamina. Further more, theoretical and experimental compare between GFC and FX-LMS is given. |
