Inspecting the Geometry state of the track is an important work for the safety and comfort to the passengers. In recent years, a kind of portable inspection instruments has been used in our official railway system. The GJY-H railway inspection instruments of RiYueMing Company is the most representational product. Its' theory is to integrate series of precise sensors in the manual machine. The railway inspection instrument can inspect track's parameters in the course of traveling, Including Gauge, level, etc. the application of railway inspection instruments has improved the level to Inspect the Geometry state of the track strongly.When dealing with the track datum, there are many interferential information, such as the rail slot information. Which is required in track inspecting too, but the rail slot information will induce false report. Otherwise, the railway inspection instrument will be wrong sometimes at work.This paper comparing with the method of digital filtering, disposed the rail slot information in track level parameter by means of the method of variability rate filtering. This method has been used in the RailwayChk XP system, and has been obtained good efficiency; discussed the rail slot information of the track direction and the track height parameter in interpolation method; analyzed the relevancy between track direction parameter and the track height parameter by many experiments, and adjust the mechanical configuration; Solved the problem of EMC and EMI on collection box; superseded U disk with Flash memory, and make the railway inspection instrument work in good state.
