Stabilization platform is an important field among the applications of the inertial technology. And because of its broad application foreground, antenna stabilization and tracking technology has become a study hotspot of stabilization platform. The kernel problem of antenna stabilization and tracking technology is the initial alignment and automatic tracking technology of antenna toward satellite. With the object of moving carrier satellite communication TV receiving system, this paper study chiefly the approach and application of power level strength signal, the initial alignment technology of moving antenna and the problem about dynamic search in the tracking process.1. Analyse two-axis antenna platform based on rate gyroscope with the method of kinematics, conclude the stabilization condition of two-axis antenna, provide the theory reliance for closed loop scheme based on gyroscope.2. Analyse the technology principle of program tracking, step-in tracking, conical scan tracking and singleshot tracking, and contrast the advantage and disadvantage of them. Select program tracking and conical scan tracking considering performance and cost.3. Analyse some approachs of obtaining power level scan reference signal, and finally select the approach of taking power level strength signal out of digital receiver, which establish the basis for initial alignment and dynamic search.4. Conclude and verify detailedly attitude algorithm and conical scan control algorithm in process of initial alignment. On the base of static initial alignment technology, reach the dynamic initial alignment technology used on moving carrier. And analyse the deviation of initial alignment.5. Analyse the main origin of system tracking deviation. Propose the control scheme of gyroscope stabilization + dynamic search in process of tracking, and analyse and simulate the problem on dynamic search.
