Traditional anti-seismic design method all assumes that the ground is rigid and use the displacement of the free field as input ground motion for structure.When the foundation has a huge rigidity and the superstructure has a small rigidity, the assumption is advisable in the engineering range. But when the building's rigidity is close to the foundation, this assumption will produces significant errors in determining the superstructure's response. Multistorey and highrise structures with piles are widely-used structures in engineeing practice and it is very important to study the pile-soil-superstructure seismic response of these structures.In this thesis, free field seismic response and pile-soil-superstructure seismic response were studied and dynamic finite element numerical simulation of the seismic response was conducted based on the forerunner's achievements. This thesis is composed of three parts as follows:In the first part, the work of arrangement of the materials in this area was accomplished. Because pile-soil-superstructure dynamic interaction is a hot research field in recent years, it includes fruitful research achievements.This thesis comprehensively generalized all kinds of analysis method in this domain and gives some comments to them. This provides a good material reservation work to the further study.In the second part, the free field seismic response analysis was conducted. In the analysis,comprehensive and detailed caculation method and parameters determination were generalized. Through caculation example, the factors that will influece the results of seismic soil response including element meshing, intergration step,damping,boundary were studied and the regularity was generalized.In the third part, the pile-soil-superstructure model was constructed and solved. The nonliear dynamic time history analysis of three superstucture of different height in siteâ…¡,â…¢under different ground motion input was accomplished. In the analysis, interaction system and fix-based assumtion system were all considered. Through analyzing the discrapancy of the seismic response of the superstructure, the regularity of the results were generalized and some advised were produced to design practice.
