The emergence of air-cushion platform has solved the problem that how to move the object in the marsh or shoal area, especially to move the super and large object. To research the hydrodynamic characters of the air-cushion platform, not only can provide a theoretical guide for extensive application in production and living, but also build up a reliable foundation for further research.The popular CFD software FLUENT was used in this paper to compute the dynamic hydrodynamic characters of the air-cushion platform. Meanwhile, the problems of the free surface and dynamic meshes were considered. After analysis of the influence of flux, velocity, heading and air-cushion pressure on the air-cushion platform, we can get the wave-making resistance and its coefficient, the hovering height and the distribution of the flow field. And through comparison of the straight navigation and yaw, the relation between them was got. Also a reasonable explanation why the angle of navigation is larger, the crest of resistance and the fluctuation of hovering height are larger was given in this paper. Through research, software FLUENT was found to be applicable to numerical calculation on dynamic hydrodynamic characters of air-cushion platform, and it also provides a new way on air-cushion platform research.
