Having a big capacity of water, the Xiaolangdi reservoir is a controlling project made by Chinese government in Yellow river, which cannot only control the rivers' flood but also hold up the sediments. Using the reservoir to divert water and sand can decrease the riverbed increasing in the downriver.To design the suspended sediment sampling machine that used in density current measurement is the aim of the paper.Due to the much sediment in deepwater, the communication in underwater and the surface is very hard. Therefore, a new model of current field communication was given in the paper according to the xiaolangdi reservoirs' circumstance and its equipments used in hydrometry. The particular mathematical deduce of the model was introduced and simplified in the paper. Moreover, the equivalent circuit of the model was given.The sampling machine made up of four sampling chamber controlled by deepwater electromagnet respectively works in the deepwater. The theory of the machine and electromagnet that can be anti-silt and bear the high press was said clearly.The remote control system of current field communication, which made up of several functional units, made the single-chip as the core. The hardware of the functional units such as keyboard scanning, communication transmitting, communications receive, sample implement and LCD display ware introduced. The software of the system was also said at the end of the paper.
