The Study Of Composite Foundation Mechanism Of CFG

Composite foundation of CFG is a kind of rigid pile, its bearing capacity is determined by the static loading test. As a new type of technique for improving the week ground, its has the great virtues of strengthening the bearing capacity of the composite foundation, having small settlements close to stability with high speed. By this new technique in construction, the speed makes faster , the cost is less but the quality is higher. So it has already been applied in foundation treatment engineering . In this paper, combining the first CFG composite foundation in Guizhou and using FEM analysis program (ANSYS), the mechanism of the common action of pile and soil is analyzed and the CFG pile composite foundation is simulated. According to the comparison between the theoretical results and the measured ones, some engineering characters and new approaches to the CFG pile composite foundation are discussed, and some valuable conclusions are drawn. The main contents and conclusions are as followings.(1).By the mechanism of the common action of pile and soil, characters of distortion of the CFG composite foundation are analyzed.(2).Designed model established by ANSYS program is used to analyze the loading behavior of the CFG pile composite foundation such as vertical displacement, stress and character of destructive capability.(3).Static loading tests are completed, the measured data are processed and compared with the theoretical results and the causes are analyzed.(4).Simulating the working mechanism of the CFG pile composite foundation with FEM method is a feasible method. The analyzing results are basically consistant with the measured results, so FEM program can be an assistant tool for designing and constructing the composite foundation.(5).Composite foundation of CFG is a kind of rigid pile but kind of flexible. Its bearing mechanism is similar and its gravel pile composite foundation, and its load-taken by pile and soil is similar the normal concrete pile foundation.(6).The results of study provide references to the wide use for composite foundation of CFG in Guizhou.
