As the policy of reform and opening up goes deeply and the rapid progress of our country, optimize energy structure, improve energy conversion efficiency and reduce the emission of pollutions are three great problems before us. Gas turbine is a kind of mechanism which have great unit power, less unit weight, less start time, and high RAM performance, it is just the power and drive mechanism that meets the requirement of our country, it is the mechanism that will be widely used in our country.The analysis to the status of modeling of gas turbine and its components is given in this paper, the model of compressor, combustor, turbine and other components of single shaft simple cycle are built, and iteration method is used to describe the dynamic process of gas turbine, volume inertia has been neglected, thermal inertia and rotor inertia are taken into consideration. PG6541B type gas turbine is used to test the simulation program, as this kind of gas turbine is designed to generate electricity and its speed is constant when no disturbance occurs, a proportion and integration controller is used. The results of simulation are explained theoretically, and when gas turbine reaches balance situation, the values are compared with the plant's performance testing data which shows little relative errors. Step time can be longer when using the "iteration method", this property is prominent when the gas turbine module have to connect with other module.One of the most important problems in the simulation of gas turbine is the treating of compressor performance map, after analyze the widely used methods, partial least square regression(PLSR) method is used in the compressor performance map fitting, this method is used to fit the compressor characteristic map and get good results.
