The Research Of Paris Urban Park Development

In modern France, the appearance of urban park is a high expression of urban civilization. From those royal and private gardens which were the representation of privilege rank became population open to the construction of urban parks in Paris during the Haussmann's Time, from English-Chinese garden to eclecticism garden, and then to post-war reconstruction and with the emergence of modernism and postmodernism style gardens, and the last of the landscape garden design towards naturalism. French urban park design concepts experienced an exploration process.Taking time as the main line ,with the Paris center parks for research ,from construction background, geographic location, design practices, social evaluation summarized micro level design analysis; From a macro-social, political, economic, and cultural perspective summarized, thus analysis derived the style of the Paris urban park design and its social significance for integration with urban development.Paper is divided into five chapters, the Paris urban park development summarized into three periods: the first period, during the modern urban transformation Paris Town Park in its initial construction and social background analysis; II, introduced French town planning system, the style of modern urban park design and its construction; Phase III, outlines contemporary Paris urban park design concept and its development trend. Finally it is summed up the practical experience of the Paris urban park building.
