| GIS technology has powerful abilities of managing spatial data, spatial analysis and visualization display. By joining GIS technology with air dispersion mode, the study forms a real-time simulation and prediction system . The system can simulate the automobile emission's dispersion in ShanTou, and provide other functions such as data management, data inquiry and spatial analysis. The system is beneficial to the planning and decision-making of environmental workers. In the study, the computational mode is optimized, and the efficiency of the system is remarkably improved; By comparing simulation results with the results of field survey, diffusion parameters of ShanTou are suggested to use in similar study.
