Concrete is a kind of engineering material with inherent defects. The failure caused by occurrence, propagation and coalescence of cracks is to start as loading. By means of the advanced non-destructive damage test instruments such as acoustic emission apparatus, CT device, the study of the failure process of concrete under load on the mesoscale level is carried out.Through the uniaxial compression damage experiment of concrete of different water-cement ratio, of different carbonization days, we analyze the distinction of disfeature, intensity, elastic modulus. While loading the acoustic emission parameters are acquired. Studying the relationship between the parameters and the macro-damage process, the differences among diverse samples are discovered, the whys and wherefores are interpreted, the physical mechanisms of the macroscopical destructive phenomena are digged out.Based on the Weibull statistical distributing theory and the hypothesis of the equivalence of strain, the damage evolution equation is put forwarded. On base of a good many testing data, the correlative parameters of models are determined. Compared with the test results, the damage evolution equation can effectively reflect the facts. The CT test of concrete is performed. The damage principle of the concrete in the view of concrete's microstructure is revealed via examining the graphs and the distribution of the CT number.
